Does anyone have a link to the owners manuel for a model 3160 mower? I am restoring a 185 with the 60" mower and would like to see the proper way to hook it up to the hydraulic lift. And which side the wheel brackets go no the angle across the deck.

Steve:

I do not have a lot on the Numbered Series Cubs yet, but I am working on it. As far as an Owner's Manual for the 3160 .. sorry I don't have one scanned at the moment. However you are in luck cause I do have the TC-131 Parts Catalog Revision 8 and that might help with some of the questions. Here is the IH 3160 Rotary Cutter parts breakdown. Hope it helps.

Also, Binder Books has the manual available for about $15 if noone has one to help you out with.

If I have the picture loaded correctly, it will show you how the lift arm is attached to the mower (I'm new to posting pictures). The arm that attaches the mower is attached to the forward-most hole of the hydraulic lift arm, with the slotted end of the arm at the top. The guide wheel brackets are mounted to the inside of the mower angle braces with a bolt going through the attaching arm, the guide bracket, and angle brace.
Hope this helps.

Thanks all! As always members from here are great at helping out! I put the lift arms on last night and they fit just like in the picture above. Actually, its about the only way they will go on and line up with the hydraulic rock shaft.
