Ya know Dale, I actually thought about #2 Permatex and changed my mind. Hindsight is soooo 20-20. I wonder if that transmission stop-leak stuff would hurt the hyd pump?

Check that pipe nipple closely for a crack, that's what I ran into. The nipple broke off while removing it. I have great success with teflon tape and really like teflon paste. Your nipple should not be leaking whatever sealant was chosen.

Personally, I would not put that stop-leak goo into anything. I do like the Teflon pipe dope though. NJDale
