Re: 154 CUB YELLOW AND WHITE PAINT
I have used the International "Ironguard" paint - direct from International dealers (Quarts & Gallons) and it is an 'excellant' paint. About $45 to $50 a gallon. It sprays on nice and 'thick', it 'holds' well on vertical surfaces and does not 'sag', and it 'flows out' well to give a good shine and gloss.
Thin approximately 10% with any brand 'enamel reducer'. Spray a 'medium' coat at about 45 PSI. Wait about 30 minutes or until lite finger pressure on the fresh paint won't make a mark or stick, then re-coat it with a 'heavy wet' coat. Doesn't run on complicated vertical surfaces, but gives an excellent 'flow out' for a shinny surface.
The 'Ironguard' is still like the old fashioned 'thick' paints. NJDale

Re: 154 CUB YELLOW AND WHITE PAINT
I been using TSC valspar cub cadet yellow for the yellow and i'm going to use the International white,(valspar) its more of an off colored beige on two of my int154's. My 154 with the loader will be CAT colored (yellow) with International white sheetmetal.
I did paint one 154 hood white but the orginal color isn't bright white its an off white.
Rattle cans only. If i set up a spray gun my neighbors will complain for sure, but they haven't yet with the spray cans.

I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
