PTO problems....
Ok my first 154 has been ok all summer after we fixed the tranny fork. I have another problem that just started happening to me. Sometimes while mowing the PTO lever jumps out of engagement. Do i need new bearings in the lever system? I'd like to purchase the parts before i disassemble it.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Hi Bill
Probably your two spring cups are weak, or your 2 cam recesses for the 3 ball bearing are worn.
Good Luck
Bob

Re: PTO problems....
I ordered the new balls from www.mcmaster.com they also had the balls in metric too. I ordered both the 7/16" balls and the metric size one larger incase its wornout that much.
