Previously posted on the problems encountered with this tractors pto unit and now resolved.
Picked up the "super-ceded" new clutch package unit from the I.H. dealer ($677.40) and could not see any visual difference from the original unit, but installed it and the pto works very well. Appears to have been the best option for a reliable repair and makes this tractor a pretty decent mowing machine. I guess I just had to get psyched up to spend this much money for a relatively small package.

Glad to hear you got everything going. I have a hard time letting that much go for a project, but when I compare it to a new machine, its a little bit easier to overcome!
