Does a lo boy have drop housings on the rear axles like a Cub?

Re: Lo boy tire size and rear axle ?
The numbered series lowboys used the same rims and tires as the older lowboys, 8.3-24 tires on 24" rims or could be equipped with the balloon/floatation tires which are 13.5-16.1 on 16" rims. The axle housing are the same as those on the older lowboys, which are mounted 90 degrees forward compared to the standard Cub, which shortens the wheelbase.
So, what's the project?? Got me currious!!
Hope this helps.

whether using the 8.3 X 24 or the 13.6 X16 baloon tires, they are both the same height.
