Using the 3pt hitch/PTO warning

Postby BigBill » Mon Aug 18, 2008 12:24 pm

Make sure you check the clearance between the top link and the PTO pulley when using the 3pt hitch attachments. The Top link can hit and bend the PTO pulley so either remove it or check it out before you break or bend something. The lock/jam tab can hit the pulley too if the top link is installed with the loc tab towards the tractor. It will bend the pulley a little don't ask me how i know this.

I just found this out and i didn't break anything luckily.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
