Front bumper on 184
This second 184 I just got has a tubular bumper on the front of the tractor. Was this something that came from IHC or was this most likely a home made item? It actually looks good on the tractor but, it's the first I have seen like it. Thanks

There were aftermarket bumpers / grille guards etc. available and sold through dealerships. Not actual IH items but popular dealer add-ons. I don't know that IH offered a bumper themselves.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Check on e-bay. You see them there a lot. If you don't like buying that way, it will at least give you a link to a supplier. Other possibilities would be and existing dealership or even a place like TSC.
