154s can be used with rear 3-point mowers, but you need one made for the Cubs.
What make/model of mower do you have?

Is the brush hog belly mounted? Do you want to belly mount it or use the 3-point?
Later edit: A belly mounted mower from one 154 will directly mount on another 154. If you are asking about the 3-point when using a belly mounted mower. You use a lock out bar to stop the 3-point from functioning when raising or lowering the mower. The lock out bar is shown in the operator's manual.
Some Numbered Cubs have a diverter valve to stop/control the 3-point.

I have an excuse. CRS.
