Kub klipper on a 184
I'm looking at a potentially buying a 184 loboy. I am wondering if my 42 inch kub klipper belly mower from my fcub will work on it?

IDK but probably could be modified to work with some fabrication. I have a BUSH HOG 412 on a 57 Cub LoBoy that the mule drive and deck had to be modified in order to fit within the available space. The OEM mule drive was so cumbersome that I swapped it out for a Pennington mule drive. JMHO Stan

Re: Kub klipper on a 184
There’s not much room under a 184. I think the spindle will be too high to allow room to raise the deck very much. There is an incredible amount a differences between the F-Cub and the 184.

Re: Kub klipper on a 184
The 184 turned out to be a 154. I'm going to leave the 42 inch kub kipper deck on my fcub. What are some suggestions for a deck for the 154. It has the drive pully and a mule drive on it.

Re: Kub klipper on a 184
IH sold 48 and 60 inch mowers for the 154 tractors, I think the model is 3160. There is an Owners manual for setup and operation at the Quick links tab, pdf manual folder where you can download the pdf manual to get a better understanding of what was OEM equipment. Also You could try placing a WTB add in the VINE, Classified forum. A forum member might have a mower that could be purchased. Hamilton Bob's Forum Sponsor might have something for sale also.

Also 3160A and Woods made one too but I don't know model number. 3160 can be bent. Look at the deck carefully. I have a 3160 and like it. Mine has been reinforced with additional iron.

Re: Kub klipper on a 184
I like my kub kipper. But I did some measuring and the rear mounts are ti wide for the mule drive set up on my loboy.
