Re: Cub 154 Will Not Move - Need Help with this, video attached
Has anyone used the “bent” TO bearing fork on a 154 without a creeper and it work? Apparently this one worked before the flywheel gave up. I put (2) SAE washers behind the pressure plate bolts all the way around and it is moving it much more but still not stopping while running. When it isn’t running, I can move the clutch disk with a screw driver so I can see that it’s releasing it some.

I think I've answered my own question after thinking about it. The driveshaft always spins because it is directly connected to the engine, and without engine running I have verified that the pressure plate is releasing the clutch disk. I think what my problem is, is that the clutch brake is not stopping the rear flywheel so as to put the transmission into gear. Maybe I need to leave the clutch adjustment as is and then crank down on the clutch brake adjustment more until it stops it!

Clutch brake. Video doesn't show a lot of it's operation.
Add another washer or two ahead of the cotter key in the bolt to tighten up/snug up the springs on the yoke. Then make adjustments.

I have an excuse. CRS.

I added the washer to that clutch brake yoke assy., then adjusted my clutch TO bearing fork linkage rod just so it barely touch the TO bearing (maybe .020" gap), then snugged up the clutch brake yoke adjustment just so it stopped the clutch pretty quick when pedal depressed. Worked and pulls like a new one!! Keep in mind that my pedal linkage adjustment is where it is probably because I added (2) SAE flat washers per bolt between pressure plate and flywheel to give the pressure plate more throw when the pedal was depressed. And.....I have the "bent" TO bearing yoke that is supposed to be for a creeper equipped machine, so it works either way but I do know the straight yoke will not work on a creeper equipped unit.
Thank you all for the help and to Hamilton Bob. Hope this helps someone in the future!
