Creeper gear bracket holes don't line up
I was going to put the creeper gear back on my 184 and the holes on the lower bracket don't line up with the holes on the creeper. The pins and the gears lined up, but the creeper isn't level with the transmission. Does anybody have any idea how to fix it?

Re: Creeper gear bracket holes don't line up
I am not sure how they could get out of alignment unless the other bolts that attach the transmission to the frame rails loosened enough for the transmission to 'tilt' a little. Or you bent your frame??
Do you have the bracket on the right side of the frame rails? I rebuilt the creeper on a 184 recently, but can't remember whether the tabs on the bracket mounted underneath the frame rails or on top of the lower legs of the frame rails.

Pictures would definitely help. There are a couple of very thick washers (nearly 1/8" thick) that go in there. I'm wondering if they are in the wrong place or missing.

I tightened the bolts on the creeper really tightly because the bracket had to bend around the curved housing. There's one hole that's barely off to the side so slightly that I could tap the hole without drilling the hole and thread the bolt in. I might just drill the hole a little bigger or take a dremel and grind it down.

This starting to sound like two wrongs that won't add up to a right. If the input shaft isn't in line, your troubles may be just starting.
