I just became a 1975 Lo-Boy 185 owner (came with the house we just bought!). Very impressed with this machine so far.
Having trouble removing the oil filter drain plug. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Removing Lo-Boy 185 oil filter drain plug
You do need to be a bit careful...the "ears" can be broken off. I have been successful in first cleaning things off, then using an adjustable (crescent) wrench spanning across the 2 ears. A couple times the whole tube has come out, which isn't a huge problem. Just clamp it in a vice with the cap wedged between vice jaws, and use some vice grip plyers. If you gouge the tube too badly, you can simply lace it with a pile from the hardware.
