I wanted to use a pulley driven pump from a snow plow on my cub154.
I found that the fan pulley on a 154 has the same bolt pattern as one on a smallblock chevy motor.[/b]
I had several around from truck projects. I sandwiched the chevy pulley in between the fan and the 154 pulley.
The fan is pushed forward about 5/8 of an inch but there is plenty of room in front of the fan.
This gives you a second groove to run a pump. I mounted the pump just below the generator on the outside of the generator bracket. This worked very well with little modification to anything.
The snow plow pump has plenty of flow and pressure for the front loader and 3pt hitch cylinders.
