I was going on about my 3160A being really heavy and a good deck. I have since learned that it is a 3260. My info had come from win 98 days and it looked similar. I just replaced my bearings with the same and machined a spindle or two.
It was when a link here, showed me that 3160A deck was also used on Cub Cadets. No way could this one. It is a 3260. I regret the misinformation.

That deck needed serious work. I pounded and gingerly bent it back to shape. There was so much good about this deck. The nose is of malleable iron to support the front roller. There are structural supports at each end which also act as skids.
