Cub 154 low boy
154 low boy quits after about 30 minutes of run time with Woods Belly Mower. It will restart then quits again. I can choke it when it starts to quit and it will run for a few more minutes. If I let it set for a hour it will run for another 30 minutes or so. Any ideas ?????

Re: Cub 154 low boy
Sounds like the coil is breaking down.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Cub 154 low boy
Coil test. Run the tractor until it dies. Then immediately pull the coil wire, lay next to block or ground, crank engine over, looking for spark.
Agree with previous diagnosis, typically failing coil.

I have an excuse. CRS.

Even though the timing marks are no where near the pointer. I believe that I am going to run it like it is. Thanks for all of your help
