Hello guys,
I have been informed that we are going Niagara Falls for our 30th anniversary next year. Here is what I know so far 4 day trip from NC with a stop going up and coming back. She would like to see the Statue of Liberty and I would like to visit ground zero. But most importantly as many tractors stops as possible. Looks like I-77 will be one route and the other ?. Any input for tractor stops? Tractor junkyards would be great.
Anniversary date June 27 2017, trip planning somewhere around that date.
James

Re: 30th Anniversary next year trip
A few points to consider:
Niagara Falls is over 400 miles from New York City.
Your are about 675 from Niagara Falls, over 700 if you follow I-77 to Cleveland.
You are over 600 miles from NYC via I-40,-55, -95 or via I-81,-78.
Any way you figure it, it would be a busy 4 days.
Next year is 2017.

Guy after my heart. Why not try to get in a couple of tractor pulls and perhaps a tractor museum or two. I'd use the pickup and tow the trailer, just in case I purchased another tractor or implements.JSTRICKLAND wrote:Any input for tractor stops? Tractor junkyards would be great.
Wife can always sit in the pickup and read a book. Might explain to wife that she can see more of Niagara Falls and Ground Zero on TV than in person.
I have an excuse. CRS.

James, if you want to see your 31st anniversary maybe you should ignore Eugene.

Stick to your guns, tractor pulls, tractor museums, buy another tractor or implements.
She chose you with all your foibles which include all in the above sentence and probably more. If this causes a divorce, let her have the house, kids, and all of your income, but keep the tractors. A guy has priorities.
