Comfort Food-School Soup!

Postby danovercash » Thu Dec 17, 2015 2:40 pm

My Wife found this on the Internet, we really like it!

School Soup
1bottle/can tomato juice, 46,48 oz.
1pound fresh lean ground beef
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
1 8.5 oz. can Lima beans
1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes
2 potatoes (diced)
2 medium onions (diced)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (we use 1/2 tsp.)
2 teaspoons salt (we use one)
1 teaspoon pepper (we use 1/2)

Bring tomato juice to boil, slowly add crumbled ground beef (no need to brown),cook till beef is separated.
Add all other ingredients.
Cook over medium heat until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
Feel free to adjust seasonings to taste. May
try other meats, but we have not.
Use canned limas as they are pre cooked.
Enjoy!!
