Harvesting peanuts

Started harvesting my peanuts lately. Football wouldn't be the same without boiled peanuts.

I'm in the piedmont of NC between Charlotte and Monroe. I generally grow 3 or 4 varieties. Those in the photo are Spanish peanuts. I'm now harvesting Valencias which are bigger and easier to eat. I'll start harvesting Virginia peanuts next, they are the largest. Spanish peanuts have the highest oil content and probably have the best taste of all with Valencia peanuts close behind.
