Sweret Potatoes

Postby torchred89 » Sun Jul 06, 2014 8:33 am

Every year I plant sweet potatoes in this tub. I put half Pro Mix and half two year old cow manure. It makes a pretty ivy by the mail box and I usually get a half bushel of potatoes in the fall.
But not this year.

Missing a leaf here and there? I have to have a 7 foot fence around my sweet potatoes. Deer like them, rabbits like them, woodchucks like them and beetles like them. Deer is the only thing the fence deters. We get what grows after everything else has had their fill. We do not get a large crop of sweet around here anyway. Vern
