Teach 'em when the're young!

Postby Barnyard » Thu Nov 07, 2013 1:00 pm

Gus is a quick learner. We take him for a walk every morning and stop to pick up the paper on the way back. Yesterday he grabbed the paper before I could get it and he carried it back to the house. This morning I took him out to get him to do it again.

It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.

Jasper could do that. But this is what it would look like.

Way to go! Gus appears to be a smart little guy! Border Collies can be trained to a lot of amazing things.

If I can train him to fetch me a beverage while I'm mowing, then he's a keeper.
