So what's this used for planting? Is it like for planting on plastic in pre punched holes?

It will be used for general planting/weeding/cultivating/harvesting/etc.---I cant get down to do it because of physical spinal condition, so had to make a couple creepers to lay on and work from there.---I have the bikes that I made many years ago, but decided an engine power one might have more functions IF I can make it run slow enough.---I dont do plastic,(thats nasty stuff!)---just good ole homemade dirt! thanks; sonny

I'd like to see your bikes how did they work? That's a good idea I'll be wishing I had a creeper when all these green beans come in. Keep me posted on pics I'd like to see the finished motorized one also.

Here is a video of the maiden voyage of the new creeper, and I didn't hit no iceburgs either!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrM0fpyjTuY --- Enjoy

Gotta slow it down, right now looking for bigger pulley for jackshaft side. Other than that looks like it might work. Was afraid it would run to fast the way it was, but I think we figured out how to change that problem. Thanks;sonny

Wish I could work faster!!LOL!!---Right now its a regular walk speed, so we can squeeze a little more slow from it and then its what we will have!
I can go hydro-drive, but will require a lot of changing to do that, but will do it if no other choice! thanks; sonny

Some of the big grafting nurseries out west have pedal powered creepers that look somewhat like the two connected bikes of your old unit. They have a formed metal pan with a pad to lay on AND a head rest to save neck strain. I know they could be steered, but I don't remember the linkage for that at all. Chip and bud grafters swear by them.

Sweet. I'd like to see a pedal powered one.
