Parmesan Kale Chips

Postby Bob McCarty » Sun Aug 05, 2012 8:17 pm

This is a recipe my wife tried tonight and I found it to be quite tasty.

1 box (5 oz) mixed baby kales (such as Earthbound Farms) or 10 cups kale leaves, tough stems removed, torn into small pieces
1tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp grated parmesan
Heat oven to 300*. In a large bowl, toss kale with oil and salt. Transfer to 2 baking sheets in a single layer.
Bake at 300* on the middle rack for 25 minutes or until kale is crispy. Gently remove chips from baking sheets with a metal spatula, toss with cheese. Store in an airtight container. ( We didn't have any to store)

Enjoy, Bob
