Man they grow up fast. I think he was about 8 when he could first drive the Cub and help me mow. While standing on the mower deck I would get the tractor started, put it into gear and let out the clutch to get him going.(he could not reach the peddles) Then I would step off and let him go.
I almost cried as I REALLY needed the help.
He is 17 now and I can't stand the idea of him going off to college in a year or so. I depend on him so much for helping with the heavy chores.
