Yes, if on my property its fair game. The USDA says i can't, but i found out from Bruce Babbitt that its up to me. :?

Mike, the Feds don't regulate black bears. The individual states do. Check out Arizona's bear damage policy.

Wow. I just saw this for the first time. That was a lot of damage to your trees. Made me think of those cages around the trail huts to keep out bears in the Smokey Mountains.

Funny, that this thread comes up again now. Stan's Fence Co. just did final repairs to the fence last week.

When I head back to the heartland this summer I will stop at the TSC and get the solar electric.

Last summer, right after she did her thing, I called the USDA and asked if they would be able to pick up the dead bear :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :lol: They went nuts. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Check with your local farm and ranch supply store. Farm supply stores in Missouri carry an assortment of solar powered electric fencers.
