Here is an easy way to make lasagna.

Skillet Lasagna

1 lb. ground meat--beef, turkey, chicken, pork, etc.
1 onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 can diced tomatoes
1 1/4 cup water
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
2 1/2 cups broken lasagna noodles
1 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 egg
Shredded mozzarella cheese

In a large skillet, brown meat with onions and garlic. Drain. Add tomatoes, water, tomato sauce, parsley, basil, oregano, and salt and pepper. Stir in uncooked pasta. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until pasta is tender.
In a bowl combine cottage cheese and parmesan cheese. Mix in the egg. Drop cheese mixture by rounded tablespoons onto pasta mixture. Cover and cook for 5 minutes more.
Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and serve.

Virginia you make my mouth water. I got my own good cook. Looking at the things you posted lately and those Bev cooks up I could become obese.
