That was funny. I bit hook, line, and sinker with your bait and switch. Here in Maine the ground is frozen so its good to see pictures of growing things. Thanks! :)

Coincidentally, I have garlic coming up here in La Crosse, too!...the only thing is that it is an old leftover head that I bought a couple of months ago to use for COOKING...

I might just put some of the individual cloves in pots and see if I can't get some home-grown garlic heads!

Do you separate the cloves from the "mother" and will I get multiple cloves in one growing season? I have never grown garlic, but I use it all the time in cooking, so I would like to give it a try!

Yes seperare the cloves. You can plant in spring, but october is a better time.

the Garlic should of been in the ground last fall, for this season... and yes seperate the cloves
