Slicing homemade bread

Home made bread can be hard to slice, especially thin. Try putting the bread in the freezer for 15 minutes, then slicing.

My mom usually lets the bread cool for a couple of minutes and cuts it with an electric knife

I have seen someone use a piece of string to cut the bread. The loop it around the piece once and then pull the ends so it cuts right through it. The string looked like dental floss size.
