Sure wish you could share some of it with the sunny southeast US. No measurable rainfall here in over a month. Most areas are under a burn ban due to drought conditions. Vegetation is dying from lack of moisture.

Usually by August the lawn's brown. This year I have mushrooms growing in the grass.

Next will be the mosquitoes. Their numbers increase with the wet conditions.

Re: done
This round of rain was 8" in total. My pumpkins and watermelons are doing ok considering they are flooded . The water around the melons is finally subsiding, but the pumpkins still have about 20" to go. A wait and see game

Re: done
Wow, sorry about that...after all the work for months it is disappointing. We seem to have had some rain every 3rd day here on the CT shoreline and then warm between...strange year, but the best garden year we have had in 20 years. Lucky not hot so the tomatoes split or end rotted. The heavy flooding rains kept north of us so I imagine Peter and Ed got some flooding.
