Propane contract 2021/22

Postby Eugene » Sat Jul 10, 2021 11:30 pm

$1.69 a gallon plus sales tax for a winter 21/22 contract. Central Missouri.

Current thought is that propane price per gallon will be higher this winter. Basing that the current increasing gasoline price and forcast to go even higher.
I have an excuse. CRS.

The contract for my place in Nebraska is $1.74 for the next year, was $1.39 last year.

Unfortunately I think you're probably right about the rising prices.

I too own my tank so I could shop around but I have an excellent supplier who has always given great service. Some of the others may occasionally be a couple Pennie’s cheaper but I’ll go with the great service. A few years back, I and many others, got caught up in an unscrupulous suppliers trap. Out of sight prices and because I had their tank, I had no option. Add to that, the service was terrible. Their own drivers were helping customers get set up with other suppliers. I think they were bankrupt and this was their last push to get money. Of course that company is long gone today. They were once the primary provider in the area.
