Finally!!!
Got some decent rain last night and this morning. That’s the first in nearly two and a half months.

Re: Finally!!!
Don't be greedy!! How about sending some down here to NC?! I'm tired of walking across my pastures and hearing the grass cracking/crackling under my feet!!

Re: Finally!!!
That must be where the hay is going to. Every other day or two I see a semi load of large round bales headed east on hwy 50 in Missouri.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Finally!!!
Just few days ago, the weather ladies (striking) were saying that this September is the driest on record. Then, early today it started raining. It was light but continuous. It is forecast to become more hot so this was certainly welcome around these parts.

Re: Finally!!!
It's been so dry I caught a fish that had ticks on it the other day. We had less than 1/10th of rain in September.

Re: Finally!!!
Flood warnings in Mid-Michigan and still raining after two days. No lack of rain this year. Actually too much and too cold this spring and killed off my melons and pumpkins. Replanted late and still was able to get a few melons - some quite large, too.
