Hey guys, been a long time, since I've posted. Got very lucky and found a fully loaded 982 last Summer. It's been a great tractor, and I really enjoy it! Here's some pics.

Very NICE!!! I've always been a fan of the 982s. Yours has some special options including the steering brakes and the 3-point hitch. great setup!

Re: My 982
Wow! Really nice! Have a CCC 782, but would like to get a 982 someday.
Believe steering brakes were standard on all supers. You'll get some good out of the 3-point. Was in Fredericktown, MO, at a festival last weekend and they had a tractor pull; someone had a couple 982s they were driving around (a red one and a yellow/white one). They were very quiet and smooth.
Congrats on yours!! Good to see you posting again---don't be such a stranger.

Wow! That really is nice! Great find. It's got all the bells and whistles. Curious about the PTO, is it 540 or the typical Cub/Cadet set up?

Re: My 982
Unfortunately, the PTO setup on those was at engine speed, wrong direction, etc., not 540 RPM, so unless you find the original tiller or brush hog, there's not much that will run off of it. It's still nice to have the 3-point hitch though, as I've found them to be very handy, even without PTO driven implements.

Thanks! Gitractorman is correct on the PTO. It is a cool option to have on a tractor!
