Thanks, fellers. Gonna get her runnin first and see what I've got. Appears to be in good shape. Even has original wiring harness minus battery ends. Is an ignition key still available? Gotta get some front tires. Deck is even in decent shape. Plan is to purty her up once I get it running good. :-)

Ignition key is available; Case/IH, Cub Cadet dealership, auto parts store, small engine shops.

The ignition key is common to a lot of garden tractors. You might take your ignition switch with you to make sure the key works in the switch.

Love the narrow frames, it looks to be in good shape, bet you have it running in no time! For what it's worth, the 71 is the 8th lowest production model.

On the key, if it is the original switch, as Eugene mentiond they are pretty universal, even with other locks.. if you have a junk drawer with keys in it, give them a try, I found several that worked.

Be real careful, they are addictive!
