1282 same as ?

I know the 1282 is an mtd but I can't seem to find the model that is the same thing but yellow and made by CC. Thanks. Grump

Tractor Data says 680 is a Cadet. I don't have a clue myself.

If I remember right, IH made dual lines of garden tractors prior to 1981 when they went under. The yellow and white ones were sold through the lawn and garden stores while the red ones were sold by the IH dealer. When IH sold their CC line to MTD, I'm not sure it MTD continued that same dual production or not. The 1811 is similar (yellow and white), but has hydraulics and wasn't built until 1986 (according to TractorData.com).
Maybe someone else will come along who knows more about it...

Yes, it is the same tractor as a Cub Cadet Corporation 680. Both are 12-hp Kohler, hydrostatic drive, manual lift. Both are Cub Cadet Corporation (MTD) tractors, built as the 1st series after they bought Cub Cadet from IH.

I have a 680, if there's something specific that you are looking at.. (I can't guarrantee it's perfectly correct)
