Very interesting project. I take it you will repower this particular cadet? and finish the refurb? Be looking forward to more pics as you progress. Should make a very versatile CC. I like creative thinking/fabrication projects like this. Very 8) , yup very 8) :D :!:

I'll keep the 16hp kohler in it. its a good strong engine. and yes I'll finish it!! (dont know why you would ask that :? ) and when done it'll look like something IH could'a built. I hope. it'll have a show paint job and all the decals back on it.

the way it looks now is just for the moc up. once its done and it all works. I'll brake it all down , strip and blast everything. then give it a nice paint job.

I will be looking forward to more pics as you progress. Reason why I asked was that some projects get done to a usable point but not painted etc., I am guilty of that, sometimes paint and decals just don't get done like with my splitter project.

got new tires for it. there not the high $$$ name brand tires , but will work just fine. really there a little better then most name brands. they are 6 ply and hold close to 1200 lbs each. some of the high dollor tires are 4 ply and rated at 900ish lbs.

I am just wanting to know how will it turn? like a skid steer or with a steering wheel and front wheels that turn left and right?

4SPEED:

Check the url's of your last 4 pics. They relate to the page that the pics reside on and not the pics themselves. This is what you have:

http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/picture. ... ureid=4117

That is not an image file. An image file must end in .jpg, .bmp, .gif, .tif, or .png. What you need to do is right click on the pic, click on properties and then copy that url in between the image tags. Just like your first pic in the thread :

it turns fine, the 2 diff's are open so they turn like any other tandem axle truck or tractor. I can push it in my shop and it turn fine by pushing it. I'll know in a few weeks how it does under its own power.
I might push the front /rear axle back 12''. not sure yet.

I like it! A lot! Looks like a fun project! Is this the one you were going make an articulated steering setup? Can't wait to see the follow up pics!
