Sign up on the above site. It's free. The manuals section has 123 different Cub Cadet manuals and brochures including the operators, parts, and engine manuals for the 105.

The above site also has a "How To" section.

The 105 was built from 1967 to 1969, it is a 10-hp Kohler engine, hydrostatic drive transmission. Manual lift (hydrostatic lift was not available yet) but could have optional electric lift. 3-point sleeve hitch was optional. Could have a 38" or 42" mower deck (although a 48" can bolt to it, the 10-hp engine would have a tough time running it). Many different tire widths and treads were available. Should have a white-fiberglass seat with white vinyl cushon and blue piping, however, many of these are long gone and the seat has been replaced. Finding one with the original fiberglass seat is a plus.

Although not a great photo, here is a 124 that I restored (12-hp gear drive) but otherwise the exact same tractor as the 105.

Here is another photo (again, not great) but showing the 124 from the side (prior to restoration)

The electric lift was not available until the next series/models (106,107,126,127,147) but there was an optional add on hydraulic lift for the 72,104, 105, 124, 125 and it could be retrofitted to the earlier Original, 70/100 and 71,102,122,123. Oddly enough, the add on hyd lift was not in the parts manuals for the 106-147 and later models, but the electric lift was. Hydraulic lift was a better lift in my opinion.

I wonder sometimes if an electric linilar lift would work but i'm not sure if it would take the punishment. I know as i get older i will need things to lift at the push of a button or lever. There is noway i can do this stuff by hand when i'm older.
