whats the value

Postby kmorrow63 » Tue Jul 17, 2012 2:41 pm

There is a guy on craigslist selling a cub original and it is all original, even the tires. It has not ran in 3 years it just has been sitting in a garage. There is some surface rust but ti is in really good shape, it would not take much to restore it. What would be the value of this? he is asking 250$.

If that is $250.00, go get it.

To my mind, $250.00 is a steal for an original especially if the engine is loose. Snap that up.... the parts alone are worth twice that. Sure would be nice to see a pic ... can you provide the craigslist url for the Original?

Looked like that 70 had fenders and if it did they are worth the price of the tractor. I have started selling some of my cubcadet stuff an a friend of mine came down from Kansas and got a set of fenders for $150.00. nice buy on the org.

The fenders on the 70 do not appear to be the correct fenders for that tractor, they look too wide and "flat". They should have more "crown" to them across the tire width.
