My CC 100 with the creeper and tiller is my "CHRISTINE" number ##2 (jeep tractor is christine #1) it runs like crap, sits all winter and summer and only tills in the spring/fall. I keep seafoam in the gas tank and she starts right up, well after cranking it for a while to get the jucies flowing in the right direction. But it never fails me enough the tractor looks like crap. I only put two new tru power AT tires on the back and the 18'' 650-8 3 rib tires on the front. The tru power AT 26''- 1200-12's with more lugs seem to work better in the soft dirt. Even with no wheelweights or chains it goes right thru the soft tilled soil. I find the little three rib tires on the front allow me to steer it better in the soft ground too. This old well ridden hard in the past cadet 100 just won't give up the fight. She's not a looker but it makes me proud everytime she fires up. The PO beat the snots out of this machine with the snowblower on a very long up hill driveway. I hope to post pics of her soon maybe Kit will do it for me and maybe he can post my complete herd of IH stuff i have here too.
My point is if any person who just reads here and doesn't post and wants to get into this IH brand of tractors and doesn't have the room for an fcub or int154 the cub cadet is the way to go. These little tractors have the heart of the larger ones and will work very hard for you too. There is no need for manual labor when we can get a machine to do it. In around an hour i had my two food plots tilled up.
I never thought these little tractors could work so hard. Don't miss out on getting one of these there a lot of fun to work on and to put to work too. Bill
BTW; If you keep the oil level filled in the crankcase these engines will never fail.
