Cub vs Cadet Transmission - Have a Question
Do the cadet transmissions have a hole where the PTO shift lever goes on a regular Cub tractor? If so, was the hole plugged or just left open? I am needing a plug for the hole in question.

Re: Cub vs Cadet Transmission - Have a Question
Just found this on the CASE/IH site under the 154 loboy section. Looks like it is a 11/16 expansion(?) plug. Number 16 in the picture. Where might I pick one of these up? THANKS!

Try NAPA. Same thing as a "freeze" plug in an engine block. TM is on holiday otherwise they probably stock them. Install it with the cup facing out. Give the center a rap with a hammer and punch and it will expand and seal the opening.

Re: Cub vs Cadet Transmission - Have a Question
I have a Cub that had a piece of wooden dowel inserted there to seal it. Seems to work fine.
