What is the vintage of this wagon? Is there any documentation on these?

It is a #2 dump cart. I can't find production dates anywhere, but I would say they were made from the very late 60's to mid to late 70's.

I have one that i bought with my 106 cub cadet in 1970 paid $1,000 for the mower and trailer i wish the 106 had an hour meter on it because it has mowed a lot of grass.

$1000 for a mower in 1970 would have been a lot, but i guess if it has lasted 40 years, it was worth it.

If memory serves me correct the mower was $900 and the trailer was $100 it was a lot at the time and Mama Viv was not happy when i bought it.

It is a Number 2 trailer and the CPE-2 parts manual says they were built 1971 and "since". The number 4 trailer replaced it and was built 1976 and later. The #4 is similar to what is available now with the box over the top of the wheels. There was a Number 1 trailer built from1960 to 1967, and it looks like a mortar box on wheels, and it has been suggested that it really was. A number 3 trailer was made for the rear engine riders and lawn tractors that has a flat front, sloped rear and angle iron on the corners, and hard rubber wheels. The # 1 and # 2 trailers in good condition are normally rather pricey and are a desired "accessory" for the older Cub Cadets.
