Got another cub cadet

Postby 56cub » Mon Sep 27, 2010 9:02 pm

Awhile ago I was talking to one of my friends about me cub cadet that I got and he said that he had one that needed some work. It was a cub cadet 128 He said that he wanted to eventualy sell it. The other day I was talking to him and offered him $50 and he said yes. It needed a tire just to move it and the other three tires where flat. It also needs some work on the wiring and a governor spring. He said that it did run before and it also has a rebuilt starter generator on it which is probably worth more than what I paid fof the whole thing.

Here are some pics of it.

Just for fun here is a picture of it next to my cub cadet 147. You wouldn't believe what kind of deal I got on it.

Looking good. Those can be real work horses if you get them going good.
Though trillions and trillions of eyes have been watching the skies for as long as human memory exists, no gods nor angels have been seen or documented outside of religion. The number of spaceships being sighted however has become much more prevalent.

If you only paid $50 for the 128 and you think you got an even better deal on the 147 I can only imagine that you were paid to take of someone's hands.

I wasn't quite that lucky. lol I saw it behaind a house and stop and asked about it and the guy that if we could get it on my track I could have it. So we fought it
a little and got it on. If you would like to hear the rest of the story let me know.

Good finds,,, great prices too. $50 & free i like the cost... These are great little over built workhorses and overlooked by many cub owners thats great for us.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
