1450 mowing deck

Postby BillB » Fri Jul 02, 2004 5:59 pm

Hello,

First of all,I would like to say I am very new to the Cub Cadet tractor!
The question I have is related to a C.C. 1450 that I recently purchased without a mowing deck.Today I payed a visit to our local dealer to hunt down the right mowing deck for my machine. He was very busy with another customer (selling a new tractor/front end loader) and didn't have time for my deck questions. He opted to send me to his scrap pile to scrounge for parts and I found a deck from a C.C. 149.Will this deck fit my 1450? It is complete except for blades and the spindles all turn freely .I assume the blades are still available.Unfortunately, I could not find a part number on the deck because of all the excess paint, but a dealer tag indicated it was from a 149.Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Bill

A 1450 Cub Cadet should have a 14 hp Kohler K321AQS engine.

Really need the I.D. number off the plate on the deck. The deck will probably work, but there are enough differences in some models and in the way they mount, that it would be hard to say for sure without a model/ID number or some good pictures.
