I am purchasing a 102 cadet. I am new to these little jewels and would appreciate a little info. I have some small Brinley implements which are 3 point hitch type. Is there a bolton manual 3 point hitch for the Cadets which I could bolt on my 102?

Billy Ray,

I don't know anything about the CC 3pt but I have a very simple one on my Amigo. A similar one wouldn't be very hard to build or maybe adapt. It's operated by a simple toggle lever and is either up or down... no in-between. The only implement I have for it is a cute little carry-all.

BR,
The Cub Cadet tractors did not utilize a "typical" 3-point attachment mechanism. What everyone calls a 3-point for the cadets is actually a sleeve hitch setup. Here is a picture of one on my CC124:

You can see the silver lift bar, which works with the lift mechanism for the mower deck. If you look down at the bottom hitch, you can see a U shaped piece under the drawbar, with 3 holes on each side. This is the lower link for the Brinly adapter. With the Brinly adapter, you can use all of the Brinly garden tractor attachments.

Here is a Brinly adapter on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/BRINLY-CUB-CADET-GA ... otohosting

Good luck,
Bill
