ignition coil

I went to the parts store today to pick up a coil for my 124. They asked if I needed a coil with an internal resistor or not. I assume that I need the internal resistor since I don't see an external rresistor in the wiring diagram. Is this correct? Any advice appreciated. Thanks. John

Yes, it should be a 12V, internal resistor coil.
