12" cadet rear rims.
Whats the largest rear AG tires that will fit on the cub cadet? Is there wider rims for the rear? Some of the AG tires on ebay look pretty wide for the stock cadet rear rims.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

I have several sets of rears in different widths from Cadets. I have one set of really wide rims and semi ag type tires from a puller - must be close to 18" wide.
Rear rims from other make lawn tractors usually have the same bolt pattern as the Cadets. The biggest problem on changing rims is the offset. Tires hit the fenders.
Locally there is a small engine shop with a large number of salvagable lawn tractors. Parts are cheap.

The IH built Cub Cadets used 5.5" X 12" wheels for 6-12 tires, 7"X12" wheels for 23-8.50 X 12 tires, and 8.5" X 12 wheels for 23-10.50 X 12 tires. The Super Garden Tractor (SGT) like the 982 also used 8.5" X 12 wheels for 26-12x12 tires, but the rims had a different offset or back spacing than the other wheels of the same size. The 8.5 wheel was used with the 26-12 tire to squeeze the side walls in to make the tire taller to go along with the larger front wheels and tires on the 982 and other MTD built SGT's.

I notice that the 5 lug on 4 1/2 bolt circle is the same as the jeep. I wonder how hard can it be to take a white spoke rim from a jeep(aftermarket) and take the center apart to offset it more so it will fit the cadet. Of course then i would need larger 15" AG tires. It could get interesting.
Ok i have too much idle time on my hands being retired but with the 12" rims on the front with the larger AG tires on the back it would look like its inbetween a cadet and 154 in size.....

Yup i was thinking the super swampers for sure.... the 10.00 - 15's the smaller ones would look silly or really neat? I think there around 29" or 31" tall. No fenders your right there gone already.
