BB-36 Snowthrower set up Questions

Postby krochko » Tue Nov 14, 2006 11:06 am

Does the 2 pulley wheels used for the belt drive of the deck mower need to removed from the front as well before installing the PTO and brackets? This is the 1st time im setting this up to use. Any other tips ?

Also having a hard time finding SAE 140 oil, can i use something else?

http://ihregistry.com/manuals/snow.php

There are 3 Cub Cadet snowblower owners manuals listed in the above site. PDF format. Takes a while to down load on dial up.

The 140 gear lub is available at most farm and ranch stores. 2 and 5 gallon containers.

I would use 80/120 gear lub available from the autoparts store. Quarts.

The manuals show you how to install the snowblower.

Sorry, I'm researching the snowblower for my son in-law. I have not installed the snow blower myself.

appreciate the info thanks for your help.

You know how it goes, what looks good on paper isn't always how it looks for real
