NF shaft lift lever...gone!!!!

Postby Findoggy » Fri Jul 14, 2006 9:18 pm

Anyone with a NF 3pt hitch able to tell me the length, diameter, and hole placement on their Shaft lift lever? Seems I forgot to put a cotter pin back in one side and it vibrated it's way off my tractor. Figured I could just make one up, but I wanted it to be as close to original as possible. Thanks for the help. Findoggy

If you are talking about the round bar that fits in the upper casting of the 3 point hitch, it is 1" in diameter and about 8" long. I can measure one tomorrow. That piece actually came with the Brinly sleeve hitch adaptor or with the implement if it was one that did not require the adaptor such as the rear blade/rake combo with the IH name on it or the tillers. Rudy O who advertises reproduction Cub and Cuc Cadet parts on this site sells those pins in a couple different lengths and materials.

Paul, that is the part that I was referring to. If you could measure one for me that would be great. I'm sure it would probably be cheaper to make one myself. Thanks for your assistance. Findoggy
