http://ihregistry.com/manuals/op.php
Scott go here and download the serice and operator manuals and they have pictures of the belt replacement that requires the clutch to be removes. Not very hard but can't explain without pictures. Good luck
The Geezer from IHregistry.com which crashed and is now Cub Cadet Collectors.

Johnny:

There is no need to remove the bolts holding the engine. Loosening the 3 bolts holding the clutch bracket does the same thing....loosens the belt to remove it from the engine pulley.......however, the belt still connot be removed from the tractor!

Like Wm. said, it's hard to explain without pictures.

And once again, go to this site
http://www.binderbooks.com/
scale down the left side column, and click on 'IH Cub Cadet Tractors', and it will take you to a page that has EVERY manual you will/might need for any IH built Cub Cadet tractor or implements for the Cub Cadets.

Including this one:
Operators Manuals:
1014250 Cub Cadet Models 1961-1963 $14.95
this one,
Cub Cadet Service Manuals:
CSV-Orig-Set International Cub Cadet "Original" 1961-1963 (3 manual set) $29.95
and this one:
Parts Catalogs:
TC-SEC Sections are reprinted from the master parts catalogs, priced per model. Models available are as follows: Original $11.95

That is just the beginning!!!! They also have manuals for the 42" non-trip blade for the Original, the 42" trip blade for the Original, the 38" timed mower deck, and the Danco BB36 snowthrower.
