1450 hour meter hookup question

Postby brider » Wed Dec 28, 2005 12:19 pm

I've sorted out the rat's nest of wiring on my 1450, but the hour meter wasn't hooked up. (1) of the wires runs to the ignition switch, and the other wasn't hooked up, but has an eye as if to attach to a post or bolt.

What does this other end hook to?

Thanks!

Not familar with 1450, but normal hookup would be for the loose lead to go to a ground bolt, so the meter would run when the switch was turned on.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

The black wire goes the (+) side of the hourmeter. A white wire hooks to the (-) and goes to ground.
