105 hydro front axle width

Postby Bob McCarty » Thu Sep 27, 2018 9:15 pm

If you have one, or something close, could you measure the total width and let me know what it is?

Thanks, Bob

I have a 105 and two manual transmission narrow framed Cub Cadets. What measurement are you looking for?

I will measure my 105 when I get to the acreage this afternoon.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Eugene, The total width (outside to outside) of the front axle. My friend that is restoring a Toro tractor is looking for something he can use as a front axle. The CC axles may be too narrow, but I thought it was worth a try. I'm guessing all the CC front axles are about the same width (?). There is a 105 axle on eBay, hence the question.

Thanks, Bob

22 1/2 inches from outside of the axle to outside of the axle. Measurement does not include the spindles.

Measurement is from a parted out 123.

Have a John Deere, to be parted out, in the storage area. Will attempt to measure this afternoon. I think the front axle is narrower.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Measured 105 CC. 22 1/2"

Measured an old JD lawn/garden tractor, model unknown. Appears to be 24".
I have an excuse. CRS.
